Refund Policy
​Thank you for your interest in joining Penang MUN (PMUN). We understand that there can be unprecedented events that may interdicting your participation in the conference and as such, request for a refund. The eligibility of receiving a refund is stated as follows.
Details Regarding Refund Process
- By submitting the registration form, you have read and acknowledged this Refund Policy.

- Should a participant wish to withdraw his/her participation in the conference, a notification must be sent to the secretariat at penangmodelunitednations@gmail.com with a Subject Heading: “[Refund] Withdrawal from PMUN 2025”. Please indicate the adequate payment verification such as a bank transaction screenshot for our reference and recording purposes in the email. Cancellations exceeding 7 days from the day of payment made will not be entitled for a full refund.
​If a withdrawal request is sent within 7 days of the original payment date, a full refund can be considered regardless of the registration date. Beyond this time range, the refund amount will be considered based on the time of withdrawal, please refer to the table below for the amount of refund that can be provided.​
- Cancellations due to medical conditions or any other unforeseeable circumstances indubitable beyond one's control will be subjected to our review on a case-by-case basis. We can allow full refunds for delegates who successfully provide reasonable and sufficient verification of such circumstances whatsoever before 2 weeks from the start date.

- In cases of whole delegation withdrawals and refunds under unprecedented circumstances, they will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the secretariat based on the reasons and verification provided. The amount of refund also depends on the circumstance and time of withdrawal.

- If your refund is approved, a follow-up email will be sent to the participants within five (5) working days. The refund process will typically be conducted via the respective participant’s original payment platform/mode. Once this is done, a confirmation email will be sent to notify the participant. Merchant fees from the initial transaction and other bank transfer feed will be deducted from the amount refunded.
​The Secretariat of PMUN 2025 reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of the policy from time to time.
